I’m Jackie, a Creative Virtual Assistant based in Essex and the founder of GwenGreen Creative Business Services. I work with clients all over the UK, helping them take control of their to-do lists and focus on what truly matters.
I started GG CBS back in 2018 after being made redundant and with over 35 years of experience in roles ranging from departmental typist to events organiser and marketing communications specialist, I’ve developed a knack for making the impossible possible.
Organisation, creativity, and results are at the heart of everything I do.
The story behind the name
GwenGreen isn’t just a name; it’s a tribute to my mum, who passed away when I was in my late teens. She was the epitome of strength, dependability, and motivation – traits I like to think I bring to my work every day.
When it came to naming my business, I tried coming up with clever names but nothing was right. Her name came into my head and it just felt right, like it was meant to be.
What makes me tick
I’ve always been happiest when I’m making someone else’s life easier. Whether it’s creating something from scratch, finding a solution to a tricky problem, or ensuring every detail is absolutely perfect, I love exceeding expectations. A former manager once said, “Jackie is simply brilliant – every company should have one!”
I’ll leave that for you to decide, but I do promise to give my all to every project.
Qualified, experienced, and still learning
Alongside everything I’ve learned through years of real-world work, I’ve also invested in formal training to back up the way I support my clients. I’m a Certified VA Mentor and a Certified Business Strategist, with CPD-accredited qualifications that reflect both the hands-on and strategic sides of what I do.
Whether I’m helping clients build structure into their business or supporting new VAs as they find their feet, I bring a balance of creative thinking, lived experience, and proven frameworks to every project.
Jackie has been my VA for nearly four years and my business genuinely wouldn’t be where it is without her. she does far more than admin and always finds calm, practical solutions.
She understands the reality of running a business alongside health challenges and a neurodivergent brain, and helps me find ways to make it work.
